The survey page has been approved by BackerKit, so once I post this update I’ll blast the surveys. Please note these things about BackerKit:
1. BackerKit allows you to add-on to your pledge rewards based on money you added to your pledge and use a credit card for new add-ons. If during the course of the project I made any sort of arrangement or work-around for your pledge or desired rewards and the survey/checkout system doesn’t reflect that, then please remind me so I can fulfill my agreement.
2. If you backed at a digital-only pledge level then you will only see digital add-ons. If you want a non-digital add-on, then please change your pledge level. The system works this way in order to collect shipping.
3. I *will* count additional funds raised in BackerKit toward stretch goals. Please share the pre-order link so we can unlock all the King Arthur Pendragon authors who really want to write a Prince Valiant scenario!

4. If your rewards or add-ons include KAP 5.2, then you will immediately receive a 100% discount coupon link to the PDF download of KAP 5.1 on DTRPG. Please enjoy this for the short time until the KAP 5.2 PDF is ready. Proofing is done. The final corrections just need to be entered into the layout.
5. Please note that seven decks of Storypath Cards and the deck of new Whimsy Cards are among the add-ons. Your current rewards or add-ons may already include Path of Chivalry. These decks are $10 each or $70 for all eight decks. However, note that there is also an option for “The Other Seven” in the pulldown for the Storypath Cards. This is the seven non-Path of Chivalry decks and I’ve priced these at $60 so you can still receive the $10 discount for effectively getting all eight.
6. I’ve added some survey questions that offer you the opportunity to easily add items to your pledge, such as coins to your copy of Prince Valiant The Storytelling Game. This is sort of an experiment to see where the balance is in making this process easier for you versus annoying you with add-on offers. Please send me a message or just comment to this update with any thoughts you’d like to share about this.
My most ambitious KS project yet is now live. It’s a computer roleplaying game based on John Wick’s 7th Sea. The project is doing nicely (we've passed 25% funded with 20+ days to go), but it needs a boost if it’s going to fund, so please take a look!
I have a couple of ways to entice you…
1. Everyone who supported this project who also backs Voyage of Fortune’s Star at the $35 SPECIAL DIGITAL or higher will receive an exclusive in-game item. That item will be a special glowing broadsword, our in-game homage to Val’s Shining Sword.
(NOTE: I’ll be sending a similar note to backers of two others RPG projects, Aquelarre and Scarred Lands Player’s Guide. If you backed two or even all three of these projects, then your pledge for Voyage of Fortune’s Star will net you all the in-game items offered to previous backers!)
2. The $22 ROLL DEM BONES and $40 SPECIAL BONES pledge levels include custom 3d6 or 3d10. These dice aren’t useful for playing Prince Valiant The Storytelling Game, but they’re cool dice (scroll down the project page to the Add-Ons section to see them).
Of course, backing at the $40 SPECIAL BONES means you’ll receive the in-game sword plus the dice!
I’d love your support for this project at any level as I’m anxious for this project to succeed. If you’re not interested in a cRPG, you can receive the dice only by pledging $5 for “no reward”. After the project ends you can apply those funds to a set of 3d6 (limit of one set of 3d6 or 3d10). You can also pledge $20 for “no reward” to later select a set of 10d6 or 10d10 of any one design (crossed swords, eye/web, sun/shadows).

We’re nigh to reaching the 48 hours remaining mark. That’s important because everyone who has “starred” the project receives a reminder. Hopefully, these folks will see an amazing game (or two or three) that they want, then gaze upon the list of incredible stretch goal authors you good people have already unlocked and be unable to resist!

A few hours remaining and some awesome stretch goal authors remain, including a group of KAP authors at $60k. Adding King Arthur Pendragon Edition 5.2 in PDF or print to your pledge could push us very close! Once Upon a Time… In Camelot!

I’m very pleased to announce a major addition to this project! Our project for a new edition of Greg Stafford’s classic Prince Valiant® The Storytelling Game now includes a variant edition of the award-winning Once Upon a Time (OUAT) card game published by Atlas Games.
Designed by Richard Lambert, Andrew Rilstone, and James Wallis, the original OUAT has also been praised as a “best family game”, so it fits perfectly alongside Greg’s roleplaying game.
This new edition of OUAT is a combination of the original game plus the Knightly Tales expansion deck, with the cards from the expansions deck replacing some of the originals to create a hybrid.
The game is great fun, and like the roleplaying game, it’s suited for younger players.
In general, OUAT features two types of cards: Story Cards and Ending Cards. Players begin with five to nine Story Cards and one Ending Card. The object of play is to tell a story using the elements featured on your Story Cards as you work your way toward a conclusion that’s printed on your Ending Card. There are various ways to interrupt the current storyteller so that another play can player his or her cards instead.
Story Cards are divided into five different story “elements”: character, thing, place, aspect and event. Aspects are adjectives like Merciful or Reckless.
Here are examples of Ending Cards:
Ending Cards for Once Upon A Time in Camelot
The new Once Upon a Time in Camelot features artwork by Hal Foster as well as new card design. We’re also making subtle changes to some of the cards, e.g. the “Castle” card from Knightly Tales is now “Camelot” (see top). We may also introduce cards for specific characters from the Prince Valiant® comic strip, such as Hugh the Fox, the Robin Hood-like outlaw who befriends Prince Val.
You may add Once Upon a Time in Camelot to your rewards for an additional pledge of $10 for the digital version or $25 for a physical copy (box of 160+ cards and rules). The physical edition may only be added to a pledge level that already includes a physical item. Note that Once Upon a Time in Camelot will be printed on US poker-sized playing cards.
There are also new pledge levels that automatically include Once Upon a Time in Camelot as a reward, including a reward level for it only, as follows (physical copies always include the PDF for project backers):
